The shelf arrived in very good order, exactly what I wanted, it
has become the upper level on a professional musical 88 key
keyboard stand, dampened by adhesive rubber strips and
attached (for the moment) with zip ties. It is inverted from how it
would usually be used, providing a significant retaining barrier,
which is high enough to allow for additional rubber dampening
beneath recording and other equipment, music scores etc.
Very satisfied, appreciate such a good value deal, and that the
search for a suitable shelf is over (surprisingly difficult to find)
kind of stand (On-Stage, Quik-lok etc) who didn't want the
upper space occupied with another keyboard (although the shelf
enables support for many options) would be interested. Link for
