A Great Small Gear Motor For Robotics!
This is a new 24VDC precision gear motor manufactured by Maxon of Switzerland, assembly number
47-040-038-00-19-107 , which is a combination of Maxon Motor number 2140-937-58-236-050, Maxon Gear Head number 110451, and Maxon Encoder number 103935.
The output speed of the 6:1 ratio spur gear head is about
665 RPM at 24V DC. These motors will work on higher or lower voltages and the speed will be proportional. The gear head output shaft is 12mm in diameter with a flat by 15mm long and features sleeve bearings.
The encoder features 100 counts per turn and 2 channels. The encoder allows the gear motor to be servo controlled for speed and direction with the use of servo motor controls
