We believe that it may have been designed to remove & replace SMD or Surface Mount Technology, SMT, BGA components. We aren't sure all the components it was designed to work with. It has a micro-adjust precision X Y controllable table for holding the circuit board, mounted above that is the (de)soldering device which has interchangeable heads to fit different size components on the board. There are two foot pedals to control the hot gas and vacuum feeds.
About 18 heads and parts are included of various sizes and shapes as pictured. There appears to be two vacuum pickup wands. Unit also includes and camera and monitor.
