Chicken coop chick brooder poultry fowl hen house
Up for sale is our standard chicken coop. This coop also includes our nesting box with attached roosting perch. Works excellent for housing up to 2 full size hens or 3 bantam (bantee) hens. This coop & run have over 7 square feet of total floor space. Made one at a time in the U.S.A. at our shop in Minnesota.
* Green pressure treated lumber engineered to be used outside. Safe for animals and engineered to withstand weather, rotting, mold, mildew, termites & fungal decay. The pressure treated lumber used is a certified EPP (environmentally preferable product). Most commonly used for outdoor decks and patio's.
* dual wall poly roofing, siding, and flooring on the enclosed coop. This helps keep the coop cool on the inside on hot summer days. It also helps keep the warmth in the coop on cold winter days.
* dual hinged access doors. One for the coop and one for the run.
* dual locking snaps on each access door.
* sliding coop door. Great feature that can be slid open and closed from either the coop or the run. This will help keep your chickens predator safe and warm at night.
* removable coop base. Lifts right out thru the coop access door. Just give it a squirt with the hose and your coop is clean again.
* smooth poly coop interior and exterior makes it easy to clean with a hose and will never rot out.
* Entire coop uses 1/2" squared chicken wire. The best and safest chicken wire to use if you ask an experienced chicken farmer.
* coop run base is also outfitted with 1/2" square chicken wire. This keeps your chickens safe from ground critters and also makes it easy to move the coop with the chickens in it so you can fertilize different parts of your yard.
