The DuPont 951 Thermogravimetric Alalyzer measures change in a mass as a function of temperature. The TGA can be used to analyze deabsorption and decomposition behavior,characterize oxidation behavior, set burnout or conditioning parameters( temp/ramp rate/time), and determine chemical composition. It accomplishes this by precisely measuring mass loss of specimans subjected to a temperature sweep.
