ICOM IC-M31 Marine Radio Li-Ion Version
Purchased 2 years ago with a new boat, but never used as boat came with an on-board VHF. Never used, I charged it to test before listing and all is well. RRP is 149.00 so grab yourself a bargain.
The IC-M31 Li-Ion version comes with the BP-241 Li-Ion battery pack and BC-162 desktop rapid charger as standard. Originally designed for the IC-M90E & IC-GM1600E these new accessories can be used with the IC-M31 providing you with the option of selling up a Lithium Ion battery solution to the thousands of IC-M31 owners in the market place. Lithium-ion batteries allow flexible charging and have almost no memory effect. Please note that the BP-241 is not compatible with the IC-M21. Although the BP-241 can be attached, the radio will not operate correctly.
BC-162 Single desktop rapid charger for Li-Ion and Ni-Cd batteries
The BC-162 automatically distinguishes between various Icom batteries without the need for charger adapters. The BC-162 rapidly charges the following battery packs.
JIS Grade 7 waterproof protection
The IC-M31 has waterproof protection, equivalent to JIS waterproof specification grade 7 *. Equivalent to IPX7 of the corresponding international standard IEC 60529 (2001). 1m depth for 30 minutes.
Easy to see LCD and large channel indication
The IC-M31 has a large (32x16mm) easy to see LCD. The Volume and SQL levels are shown in the display, with LCD and key backlighting standard for night time operation.
9 large buttons on the front panel provide user-friendly operation. The independent volume and channel buttons are located on the front panel for convenient one-hand operation.
