Load Cell 1200 lbs BLH SR-4 Type U-1C
This is a Baldwin BLH SR-4 Load Cell having a 1,200 lb capacity. It is connected to a 14 ft long, 4 conductor shielded cable with strain relief and includes a steel carrying case.
The type U-1C load cell can be used for either Tensile or Compressive loading

Two diagnostic tests were done on the load cell: a Quick diagnostic test and a Zero load test.
The Quick diagnostic test uses resistance measurements to approximate the unbalance of the cell and it gives an assessment of the internal condition of the cell. The method is described on the Interface Advanced Force Measurement website. It was modified for use with the BLH load cell.
The Zero load test measures the actual response of the unloaded cell to an excitation voltage and provides an accurate unbalance value that is used to calculate the Zero offset.

The Zero offset value of 0.6 % is within normal limits. The test results indicate that this cell is in serviceable condition and should be adequate for most applications.
