The Larus Model 7500 Spread Spectrum 5.78 GHz Digital Microwave Radio System provides a highly stable, temperature hardened digital link for up to four DS1 lines. The license-free system operates in the ISM (industrial, scientific, and medical) frequency band and provides superior performance for low capacity, point-to-point, short to medium haul applications.
Called the Quadhopper , the Larus Model 7500 microwave radio is ideally suited for spur route feeders, cellular site interconnections, urban and campus environments, fast turn-up circuits, emergency restoration, and local area networks. The highly stable 5.78 GHz microwave transceiver complies withFCC Part 15.2467 spread spectrum license-free applications.
Designed for voice or data applications, the Model 7500 system includes an indoor digital interface unit that can be rack mounted or placed on a tabletop and an outdoor RF unit housed in a rugged, weatherproof assembly with antenna for pole mounting. Additionally, Larus offers a wide array of accessory items to facilitate the installation and testing of the Model 7500 system. These include an installation kit, a variety of interface cables, DC to DC converter, broadband amplifier, test transmitter, and DS1 test interface unit.
