The remanufactured NSA and DoD approved 5140C/4 Heavy Duty Maximum Security Shredder is a high volume, maximum security shredder that is ideal for medium to large offices and departments. The shredder features a giant 16" feed opening. It shreds up to 16 sheets at a .8 mm x 5 mm particle size.
The 5140C/4 is designed for heavy duty use and comes fully loaded with all of the latest features in shredder technology - including an Automatic Oiling System and a Safety Protection System (SPS).
Designed with safety in mind, the unique Safety Protection System employs an electronically-controlled safety flap in the feed opening to help prevent industrial accidents or overfeeding.
Investing in a cross-cut shredder offers you peace of mind because it is incredibly difficult to repair anything that has been shredded into particles. Having a cross cut shredder also lowers your end waste slightly, thus reducing your waste bag usage.
