This is a Sherr Tumico precision dial dynamometer, made in France and sold by the Precision Gage Co in Chicago, IL The dial range is 50 - 250 grams. This insturment is used to measure and calibrate the pressure or force required to actuate micro switches, relays, electric contacts, friction torque, etc. Comes in a storage box that shows minor wear. I also have the same guage with a range of 100-500 grams.
