This is the SNO-BLOCK 404-220-SB. It is the perfect machine for the "Mom & Pop" Snow-Ball Stand. The 220-SB makes 9 blocks of ice each 12 hours**...that's 216 lbs of ice in a 24 hour period.
The cabinet is constructed of durable gel-coated fiberglass, which is the same material used to make boats. This makes the cabinet, in the event of damage, easily repairable without leaks. This material is a much better insulator than stainless steel against the input of heat.
This is the smallest block ice maker that we offer. If needed, the refrigeration unit can be top mounted to save even more valuable space in your stand. If space is a priority, this compact machine measures 37" high X 40 3/8" long X 26" deep. All block ice makers can be mounted on casters for an additional $180.00
Ice freezing cans come in two types of material: stainless steel cans or polyethylene cans. Only the polyethylene cans are NSF approved. So if that is an important factor for your local health inspector, you may want to consider them.
