Re-22 relay box from an arw-9 system 1945 b-17 equip

RE-22 Relay Box from ARW-9 System 1945 B-17 Equip !!
AN/ARW-9,Radio transmitter, Remote control, Used by lead bomber to automatically release all bombs in a flight. ARW-9/ Bomb Salvo Xmitter
These boxes were all part of an experimental program for the first Guided bombs, Azon and Razon Bombs, go on you-Tube and you can see one
Look at the pictures and you will see these 1945 relays were wrapped and sealed and have not been opened since 1945!
Outer box wrapped in kraft paper, then wrapped in heavy foil lined canvas bag with another inner box wrapped in Kraft paper. Inside the inner box is each relay with two large bags of desicant.
These were made by John Meck Industries, Plymouth Indiana, Stock # 2Z7670-22
I'm not exactly sure what these boxes did but I think they somehow connected the transmitter that triggered the bombs to drop maybe with the bombsight or ??
If you know anything about these let me know, I would appreciate any information.
What can you do with these, well thats up to you and your creative inventive mind!
I'm a Ham Operator myself ( KD8IJU) and I'm going to use some of these myself for some electronic projects.
I'm a bit of a history freak so looking at these just is so neat, I have a picture of a B-17 hanging over my desk, whats that tell you. My Dad Frank Quail, was a WWII Navy Pilot of a Catalina PBY.
You will recieve a package, right out of 1945 !! ( I open each package and check to make sure all is intact inside for you, remember these haven't been touched since 1945!)
Contact me with any questions, I tried to provide good pictures so you can see everything.
