KIRBY LESTER PILL COUNTING Machine
Counts all tablets and capsule, any shape or size*.
This machine is second-hand, but in Excellent condition . . . The Tray drawer shows very little wear at the edges where the tray is inserted each time the machine is used to perform a count . . . The "like NEW"cone splitter still has the peak in a well defined sharp point and only a slight discoloration on the exterior from the Flourescent lights. . .These are indications of the amount of use.
The New Funnel set on top and other plastic parts show NO yellowing . . . (The plastic parts on Kirby Lester machines are under flourescent lights most of their lives and so a yellowing discoloration is taking place. )
This is an Extra Fine example of a KL-X . . . The Serial number is ETCHED on the Kirby Lester plaque on the back of the machine . .
It has been Tested . . . All Electronic Gates working and it exhibits the full accuracy that a KL-X is capable of. . .
This type of Kirby Lester machine is very accurate when kept clean.

Pill contact parts are precision crafted from high impact plastic material . .
Metal cabinet is Powder Coated light Grey,
and the precision electronic counting boards are inside. .
These machines were built to give the greatest accuracy possible, (even better than hand counting on a tray), day in and day out, hour after hour of continuous use, for years and years . . .
This Machine has the newer Round Fuse holder that replaced the square red one on earlier models of the KL-X . . . Please see pictures.
Please note: The only flaw is one very small chip on the right corner of the exterior of the metal case. (Please See Pictures). This does not in any way effect the performance of this otherwise perfect KL-X
These precision counting machines, are for use in a licensed Pharmacy or Vitamin Filling Operation and can only be sold for such. Proof of legitimate ligitimate use is required.

I have used KIRBY LESTER counting machines in the practice of Pharmacy starting with my first KL-7 in my Pharmacy in 1972, Then 11 years in a mail-order setting, keeping KL-8s, KL-8plus, and KL-X, operational, fixing broken ones, and replacing parts . . .
Until they were replaced by newer models and no longer available, KIRBY LESTER Listed the KL-7 at a Retail of $895
The KL-8 was $1395 and the KL-8 plus was $1595.
The KL-X (10) retailed at $2795
