Gibco brl "the courier" 35-43 magnetic film cassette
The COURIER is a light-tight autoradiographic film cassette designed for use with both radioisotopic and nonradioisotopic applications. It is designed with a magnetic inner surface covered by vinyl which prevents any light leaks from occurring. Unlike other film cassettes which have either straps or clips to hold it closed, the COURIER cassette magnetically seals around the entire edge. The unit is capable of withstanding repeated ultra-low temperatures without loss of light integrity. Since it is not made of metal, it is easy to handle at low temperatures. However, care must be taken to not bend the top magnetic cover while still below 0 degrees celcius.
