These quail are very good flyers and are great meat birds also.
They are mature/flight ready at 16 weeks and laying eggs at 20-24 weeks.
My quail are raised inside on wire in a very clean environment and fed a high protein game bird layer feed.
These eggs are from first year layers. My quail are in pens with a 3:1 ratio of 3 hens to 1 rooster which provides high fertility therefore providing a very high hatch rate.
These eggs are very fresh! They are gathered 2 times a day.
I have been getting great results with 70-75% humidity during incubation with temperature at 100 degrees and 80-85% humidity during hatching.
