Operational settings for Lookout V are made using a common browser running on a computer connected
to the camera through an RS-232 port before final installation. These settings include exposure, picture
quality, color balance, picture size in pixels, transmission schedule, time, date, day, GSM account settings
(APN and PIN), and FTP SMTP server settings (IP addresses, folders, and passwords).
External connections include external DC power (5 to 14 VDC), and external lighting control that
enables the camera to activate lighting for the short time necessary to acquire an image.
GSM data service must be established for Lookout V before snapshots can be transmitted.
Lookout V transmits jpg images using FTP or SMPT via GPRS cellular data service to any internet server. Once stored on the server, images can be viewed, archived, managed and served to other web clients.
