This Hot Plate Mag Stirrer was Designed for Continuous operation, can run @ 500+F Spinning 24 hours a day 7 days a week Just received cleaning and NEW MOTOR for more decades of use. Base maintains a cool 70 degree F while Hot Plate is set to HI Temp. We have mixed 2000+ ML on several occasions with out problem.
