Chance hard plastic carry case
The tester consists of two fiberglass poles with end fittings threaded for interchangeable probes. The probe fittings couple with a high-impedance component encased in each pole. A 22-foot length of insulated cable stores on the reel affixed to one pole and connects to the voltmeter on the other pole.
I use similar models for phasing high voltage conductors before connecting. This set tested on overhead 12.5/7.2 kV line in the field, connected to extendo's, (Voltage potential test) and worked fine. Tested phase to phase and phase to ground. This can be used with hi-pot adapter for testing de-energized cable.
This is intended to be used by trained personnel.
Chance tool case is weathered, but is not hurt.
