This item is pulled from retired equipment. The shaft is tied to a fixed non rotating part at on end thus by moving the motor you get about 1 inch of travel. Think of it as a built in motor/leadscrew assembly, perfect for Z axis or lathe conversion applications.
There are 4 different part numbers though they look alike. For multiple purchases I will send you matching part numbers.
