The specially designed baseplate on the DX 351 makes it the ideal choice when driving fasteners in narrow, almost inaccessible places such as strut channels or junction boxes when being secured to concrete slabs or steel.
Compact and lightweight, the DX 351 also provides the quickest way to secure low voltage bunched cable, whether on walls or ceilings. Of course, the DX 351 with the right fasteners can help with cable tray installation, but using Hilti's preassembled cable suspension hangers that can hold up to 200, 1/4-inch-diameter cables, lets you avoid the hassles often associated with cable trays. Using a DX 351 cable support system instead of trays can also yield significant savings through reduced material costs and much faster installation time.
The DX 351 also lets professionals keep their feet on the ground when installing just about anything overhead, including cable suspension systems. With an optional pole tool accessory, fastening into ceilings up to 13 feet high is easy, virtually eliminating the need for ladders. The DX 351 fits onto the pole, and a pre-assembled fastener secures easily in the baseplate of the tool. The lightweight pole tool combination can then quickly make fastenings overhead into concrete or steel.
The DX 351 can be quickly converted into a fully automatic, magazine-fed fastening system for high-speed, repetitive jobs. With the Hilti MX 32 ten-pin magazine, the DX 351 can reliably fasten as many as 700 pins per hour, with no compressors or cords.
