There are many ways to use this sling!
The same sling can be used in a weighing system also works well to transport calves. The sling is fastened onto the calf and then hooked on the side ofa Calf catcher or transport cage for transportation. Our sling is custom made with stiffening supports to prevent the sling from bunching up. Each sling includes two removeable straps with snaps that can be used to further secure the calf.
The sling used with the Hitch Mounted Calf Carrier is the same sling used for transporting and weighing calves with the Calf Catcher. This custom sling is designed with stiffeners to prevent bunching and has adjustable quick connect straps on each end for added protection against slipping out. The sling also allows easy access to the calf for casteration, tagging, shots, ect.
