HEARTLAND CUSTOM WOOD is a family owned cabinet shop producing everything from end-grain butcher blocks to designing/building entire cabinet projects.
We are currently offering Poplar Shaker Bead Board Cabinet doors and drawer fronts at the wholesale price of $9.50 per square foot.
DOOR QUALITIES: The solid wood frame is constructed from Poplar and the center panel bead board is MDF. Poplar has a very tight grain which provides for a very smooth painted surface. MDF Bead Board will provide an excellent painted finish. We will offer the center panel as solid wood Poplar for the same price. We allow you to design your door. We can adjust the stile and rail width, as well as the vertical bead placement. You can choose your outer edge as well.
HINGES: Single Demountable in polished brass, chrome, or nickel at $1.75 ea., Blum Compact 38N Concealed Euro at $2.00 ea, Mepla Concealed Euro at $2.50 ea, or ATC SILEO Soft Close Concealed Euro hinges at $3.90 ea. We will cut your doors at no exra charge for hinges. See photos for examples. Please know that our hinges require a 1/2" overlay.
HOW WE WILL CALCULATE THE SQUARE FOOTAGE/COST: To build your doors we will need the actual dimensions of each opening. These measurements are your responsibility. Please let us know if you need assistance in your measurments. Where pair of doors are desired for an opening, we will provide them with 1/2" overlay as the rest of the doors, but with a 1/8" gap between the doors to allow the doors not to bind. We will build to 1/16" square footage. We will calculate square footage by adding 1" each direction (for the door overlay). We will round up to the nearest 1/4" (i.e. 9 1/8" = 9.25") for the height and the width and then multiply these two numbers and divde the total by 144 (square inches in a square foot).
