Disney s The Little Mermaid Under the Sea Water Works Snow Globe
The base is a large coral reef with a fully functioning waterfall and water pool. The outside of the base is cast in resin set to look like a coral reef, and also has see-through blue plastic sides to allow one to see the collected water. The globe is detachable and sits in the pool area of the base.
The globe detaches from the base for cleaning purposes. The globe rest on a coral strip, and inside the globe is a figure of Ariel and Flounder looking out at the under the sea theme.
An electrical plug operates the waterfall functions. The globe first needs to be filled with water, then plugged in to create the waterfall aspects.
This globe has amazing and intricate detailing, and is a beautiful addition to any collection of snow globes or Disney artifacts. The globe was bought directly at The Disney Store and has been stored indoors, in a climate controlled home, within a professional jewelry display case. Included with the purchase is the original box and packaging, which are also in good condition.
