Hp 400 gl wideband ac voltmeter
Another member of the '400' series of AC meters from HP. The GL is different by having a linear 20 dB scale on top, and 140 dB dynamic range, selected 20 dB at a time via the normal rotary switch. Resolution is .2 dB per minor tic on the dial, but there's lots less cranking of the knob with a 20 dB scale. As part of the HP 400 family, is has 10 meg input z, low input c, and 20 Hz to 4 MHz bandwidth. The pictures show 2 1MHz signals, one at 0 dBV, the other at -60 dBV. -60 is maybe a tenth off, but 0 is right on. Maybe you'll have to have the HF part trimmed if that's where you work, but I've also checked the audio band and it looks pretty solid. This one also uses the standard, but not included, IEC power cord.
