Horizon 2 dry cut pattern edger optician optometrist

This is not some piece of equipment that a reseller is selling that you cannot be sure about......
This is our store s edger; it is in good working condition. The machine has been well maintained. I Bought in NEW in 1995 for $7500.00.
THIS UNIT IS a WORKHORSE, Other than occasional motor replacement and air cylinder replacements not much is ever needed. Not counting cutter blades which are good for 500 to 700 cycles.
It cuts ALL FORMS OF PLASTIC, CR-39, Polycarbonate, 1.56, 1.66, 1.67, 1.74, Trivex....and anything else out there.
This is a great opportunity to get started with making your own lenses. Will definitely help with your bottom line profit so very much needed in today s economy.
We are selling it because we recently upgraded to National Optronics patternless edger. That was a huge investment, way more than this will be for you with this edger.
I always take meticulous care of my machines. Been an Optician for 25 years now.
You WILL NEED to purchase or use your existing AIR COMPRESSOR, a small unit is all you need. They are not expensive. Just get one that is used for small pneumatic tools.
And you WILL NEED a pneumatic connector, I think its inch to connect the compressor to the edger. They are easy to get at Sears or any hardware shop and they are not expensive. Probably $5.00 or so last time I looked
EDGER IS COMPLETE AS I BOUGHT IT NEW, NO MISSING PIECES.
IN FACT I got a bunch of accessories that make this it over 100%.complete.
The sale of this edger will include:
VACUUM PICTURED (New vacuum motor installed 3 months ago. They last YEARS)
ORIGINAL CAM BEVEL GUIDE AND FINGER GUIDE (2 separate pieces)
The ring bevel guide follows the contour of the front curve of lens.
The cam guide follows a curve cam in the edger and will put a different curve on the lens surface.
So if you have a 2 base lens and want to put a 4 base curve on you can do this with the cam.
A TON OF ACCESSORIES PICTURED.
CUTTER Motor is NEWLY installed PLUS 2 EXTRA BRAND NEW CUTTER MOTORS (WORTH 400.00)(they last about 2 years per motor before brushes need replaced I ALWAYS JUST USED NEW MOTORS) (replacement depends on your volume)
