50,000 pound maximum capacity, factory fitted with dual gauges of 0 5,000 Lb and 0 50,000 Lb, on a manifold that isolates the 0 5,000 gauge when operating at the high range. This permits accurate readings at low end pressures.
Ideal for compressive strength testing and modulus of rupture testing of masonry samples, as well as for other laboratory and shop uses that require a press.
Very lightly used, testing low compressive strength gypsum formulations typically breaking at less than 5,000 PSI.
This unit has a near new appearance. Was new in 1998. Comes with an extension handle for higher pressures, a surrounding shield for protection from shattering samples (never used) and a 2 box/open end wrench for adjusting the jaw opening.
