This White-Rodgers warm air fan and limit control combines in one enclosure a switch which operates the blower in a forced warm air furnace and a limit switch which automatically shuts off the burner if the furnace temperature exceeds a predetermined high point.
The fan switch will start the blower circulating warm air when the bonnet temperature rises and will stop the blower to prevent circulation of unheated air when the bonnet temperature falls.
The limit switch has special contacts which are suitable for use on low voltage and milivolt (thermocouple generator type) circuits as well as line voltage equipment such as gas valves, oil burner motors, etc.
A summer fan switch is incorporated on some controls, providing a convenient method for manual operation of the fan for air circulation during the summer.
