Maren model 423 horizontal baler
This is a fully functioning Maren Model 423 Auto Baler with Restrainer Bars and Rotary Tamper. Unit was purchased in 2008 to bale cut filament fiber at our facility. The program is no longer active so it is being sold. We are the second owner, the original was the Ford Motor Co.
Modifications we have made include lining the baling chamber with stainless steel to protect fibers from rust and debris and provides smooth sliding action. Also a stainless screen cage at the top entry to protect and cover the chamber. It has also been painted for protection using an epoxy paint.
Included with the unit is a copy of the original operating and maintenance manual shown, which includes startup and baling instructions, and electrical and hydraulic schematics. Nominal specs can be seen on manufacturers tag shown in pictures. Maren Engineering is still in business and carries any and all parts you may need for this unit.
