New 07 caterpillar 277B very good condition motor
Here is an extremely dependable 07 Caterpillar 277B skidder. I bought the machine last year as a lease return from Caterpillar Finance. I use it for my now almost defunct dirt spreading and small tree removal business. I'm retired and just don't want to work that hard any more and this is a bit more machine than I need. It has 1389 hrs on the meter but had just had the engine replaced when I picked it up last year. One of the lessee's workers decided to run the machine with no oil. I'd estimate that the engine has no more than 400 hrs on it....and it sounds like it. It runs perfectly. The only fault is the idle is a bit high and the throttle cable is sticking a bit. Other than that, the machine has NO flaws.
The undercarriage is about as good as you can find with a machine of this use. There are no gouges out of the tracks or the rollers. They are very serviceable yet. Machine has been lubed about every 50 hrs. All of the frame couplings and pins are in good shape. There isn't any real wear on any of them that should be concerning. Comes with a 72" dirt bucket that is in good shape. No rust. You see the machine hooked up to a 115' pine tree that I took off of my property last summer. The machine is a bull!! Very, very powerful. The grapple bucket is NOT INCLUDED. I no longer have one.
