Mid 60S powermatic 160 16" planer. in great shape

This is a mid-late 1960s Powermatic model 160 16" surface planer.
It's a direct drive machine which is really nice. You don't see the direct drive models as often as the belted drive. (direct drive igives quieter operation and better torque transfer to the cutterhead.) The motor is connected to the cutterhead with a lovejoy type of coupler so swapping motors wouldn't be difficult if you wanted to change the phase, or the horsepower. Heck, you could ever change this to a belt drive if you wanted to! The motor that's on it is a 3 phase motor and it's 5 horsepower.
It's a fantastic machine and if you are looking for a solid, vintage, American made planer, you won't find anything better! Powermatic made some of the best planers ever! The 160 is nice because it's not terribly large, but with 16" capacity it will surface pretty much anything you can throw at it. It's variable speed (from 15-37 feet per minute), it has the quick set bed rollers, and all the mechanicals are in good shape. (The clutch throw out lever needs to have a set screw tightened but that's it)
What I'm asking for the planer is exactly what I have into it. I'm not looking to make money, I just want to get my money back out of it.
