This is a Used Heidenhein Encoder Rod 426 4500 01 Rotary Encoder. ROD encoders are coupled to the drive or the spindle via a separate rotor coupling. Axial motion and misalignment (radial and angular offset) between the encoder shaft and the drive shaft are compensated by the coupling. The ROD 426 has a synchro flange for mounting. Cosmetically the item is in good condition with only minor wear. The photos show a typical item for sale. Only what is shown in the photos is included.
