'For Light Roughing to Finishing - SV515 is designed with a thick CVD coating which improves wear resistance. It is designed for light roughing through finishing applications. It works best on continuous cuts at high speeds and lower feed rates. SV515 is an excellent choice for machining heat-treated alloy and tool steels, heat-treated 400 series stainless steels, and gray cast irons as well as ductile and malleable irons over 240 BHN.'
