This manual is for your use in operating and maintaining the generator set, 10 kw, Models MEP-018A and MEP-023A. It contains sections for operating procedures for operation under both normal and unusual conditions; a section for lubrication instructions, a section for preventive maintenance; a section for troubleshooting; and sections for both operator maintenance procedures and organizational maintenance procedures.
TM 5-6115-275-24P dated June 1977 with changes 1-5 with the last change dated 15 Dec 1992 This joint Army, Navy and Air Force manual lists repair parts and special tools required for the performance of organizational, intermediate (field), direct and general support and depot maintenance of the generator set.

The Military Standard Engine is an air cooled, horizontally opposed, four cylinder, four cycle gasoline engine. The engine is capable of developing 20 HP at 3600 RPM.
