WSI's flash-based PSD devices offer designers of MCU-based systems 128-Kbytes of in-system-programmable (ISP) flash memory, 32 Kbytes of additional flash or EEPROM memory, 2,500 gates of flash-based Micro-Cell(TM) programmable logic, an enhanced JTAG serial programming interface, a power management unit, code security features and a programmable MCU interface.
FlashLink speeds up system development by allowing designers to instantly program and reprogram their PSD813F logic design, system firmware and memory map while it is in the target system. This ability to test the prototype, discover bugs, and immediately re-program the PSD813F without physically removing it from the system, radically reduces the design cycle. The result is a more reliable, robust system that gets to market more quickly.
FlashLink also can be used for laptop PC-based field-updates of embedded control systems that use PSD813F devices, such as remote sensing systems, industrial process control systems and automotive and aviation support systems.
