Save time, energy and money with a Hydrotherm R Model cast iron, natural gas boiler. Hydrotherm boilers are installer friendly, to minimize installation expences. Ideal for new or retrofit hydronic hot water systems with baseboard radiation, convectors or radiant panels.
Exclusive horizontal cast iron section design provides maximum heat transfer and lower operating cost. Each section exposes large, deep-ribbed, cast iron right angle surfaces to the rising gases. Water travels from return to supply, from section to section., assuring uniform heat transfer as well as preventing hot spots and internal stresses. This unique design capitalizes on the natural rise of hot water.
Hydrotherm's intermittent pilot eliminates "off cycle" fuel consumption, resulting in considerable gas savings.
Heavy-gauge steel cabinet insulated with 1" thick fiberglass for superior heat retention
Heavy-gauge aluminized steel base assembly with high-temperature, ceramic-fiber lining insulation.
Low water content heats quickly - no need to maintain boiler water temperature during idle periods. Significantly reduces heat loss from stored water.
Up to 100 psi ASME maximum allowable working pressure.
Atmospheric-type, lanced, stainless steel burners with louvered ports increase resistance to flashback
Cast iron absorbtion unit and dome provide optimum insulation of flue gases.
