Electric vehicle 3-wheeled car manufacturing business

The original molds for the car pictured are for sale.
Not the car, not the bodies; just the molds as shown in the mold pictures.
START AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE BUSINESS
AND, after this economic downturn, expect oil prices to soar. Electric cars will be hot items.
The body is the time-consuming, laborious, and expensive part of a building a car.
These molds for this or a similar design, could take one to two years, and cost $250,000 with lots of sweat, to $2,000,000. (if done professionally, and you never know what you'll end up with).
At $79k these molds are a real bargain for the right person / business.
The rest of the vehicle, like the frame and drivetrain, could be done quickly with simple and inexpensive designs, and off-the-shelf components.
This car could be in production faster than 4-wheelers could get their bumpers approved by the government.
Being a 3-wheeler, this vehicle would only have to meet less than 10% of the safety requirements of a 4-wheeler.
Not an unsafe car, but could be a very safe motorcycle.
Also consider that the vehicle could be sold as a kit.
The Doran EV is one of the most famous electric cars which won many races and electric vehicle range contests and rallys in the 1990s.
It still looks as modern today as in did ten years ago.
This car was owned by the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles (a LA County Museum) from 1996 to 2004.
It was acquired by Petersen to recognize its beauty and technology.
There is basically two big pieces to the car: The main body (cockpit); and the hood which rotates towards the front of the vehicle:
The main body: is one big piece, but is built with 4 mold pieces that bolt together; this includes the top of the car that also encircles the windshield (from a Pontiac Fiero), the two sides, and the rear.
The hood: also one piece, is also built with 4 mold pieces that bolt together to make the entire hood in one piece (like the body).
If you look at the picture of the mold pieces in storage, you will see a large piece that is red in color.
That is a spare hood that is sitting in the main (largest) piece of the mold for the hood.
More pictures and information about the car can be seen at: http:// /Doran-Electric-Car-3-wheel-EV.htm
Sorry, we cannot sell just one body, please don't ask.
We have people ask us that all the time.
We're no longer in the fiberglass/composites business and no longer have personnel experienced in same.
(maybe you want to go into the body or kit business ?)
Depending on where you are located, there are probably several fiberglass businesses within a relatively short distance that could make bodies from the molds, quickly and inexpensively.
These may include kit car manufacturers, custom body parts manufacturers, and boat manufacturers.
Lots of production manufacturers use companies just south of the border to do good quality work at very reasonable prices.
Inspection of molds - contact for an appointment. (molds are stored in Cocoa Florida)
