1954 international mccormick super W6TA-restored
1954 International McCormick Super W6TA. Gasoline model. Older restoration/repaint. Runs well. TA and clutch good. Rebuilt live PTO two years ago. New axle seals and inner and outer bearings last winter. Also had a tuneup with electronic ignition added. Tractor is very reliable. We've used it a little on augers without any issues. Participant in the last 50 Years of Progress 50 mile tractor drive in Rantoul, IL last August. We've also had it in several barnyard tractor pulls and done very well with it. I can't really think of one bad issue with it worth mentioning. Tractor has done well at local shows as well garnering a couple of trophies. I would say the paint is an 8+ now. It was restored a few years ago and we have more or less used it as our go-to tractor for local shows, pulls, and tractor drives. It has obvious signs of use and wear in the typical areas now. Sheetmetal is extremely straight including the grille and fenders. A rare find on most of these. Tires are dry with about 50% tread and good sidewalls with nice looking white letter job. Rims are good. Has one set of IH Standard rear wheel weights. I believe they're 125 pounders. Also has a belt pulley and LP manifold. Overall a good reliable and nice looking tractor. This is a fairly low production model for an International with only around 3000 being made in all variations and only for one year. I've seen these scattered throughout the internet from time to time unpainted and in the rough (some really rough) for between $4500 and $5500. Asking price for this tractor is $7500.
