Every Selectric typewriter we sell undergoes an extensive reconditioning process. These are not machines thrown through an assembly line process. Each machine is given individual attention to produce the best typewriter possible. Every machine is torn down, inspected, chemically bathed for at least 24 hours, properly adjusted and lubricated to IBM factory specifications, and reassembly. All of this is done by an IBM factory trained and certified craftsman with over 30 years experience on them. These machines are as clean as the day they left the factory Even the casing is either an excellent original or refinish in the same, correct color.
