Ampro / sunnen 2344 thermal 3 unit cleaning system

Ampro / Sunnen Model 2344 Thermal - Oven Cleaning System. this is a great cleaning system for engine blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts or any other engine components cast iron or aluminum that you clean. I purchased this system new in 1991 and have operated it my shop for all of our shop cleaning. After we started using this system we totally did away with our jet wash and all other liquid caustic cleaning methods. With this 3 step system you can clean the oiliest, greasiest block or heads and after you baked & blasted them they will look like brand new casting's.
You can call it "GOING GREEN" if you want and really it is, but it's also getting smart with your shop cleaning. You can do away with the expense and problems of disposing of your caustic hot tank chemicals which really don't clean as well as the use to do anyway. Your only disposal is the dry ash at the bottom of the oven that you suck out with your shop vac and throw in the dumpster. The oven has 3) burners 2) of them are main burners for the oven heating and burning the third burner is in the exhaust stack going out the top and it burns any smoke from the oven. In all of the time I have operated this cleaning system I have never observed any smoke at the top of the stack or smelled anything as far as burnt oil or grease when it is in use.
The method and principle is simple remove all oil gallery plugs, cam bearings, and expansion plugs to open up all of the block so it can be fully dried out. Then you bake cast iron at 525 - 550 degrees for an hour or aluminum at 400 - 425 degrees for about an hour and a half and this will burn up all of the grease, oil, and paint what's left is the ash on the cooked items and the bottom of the oven. What this does is dry out all of the oils and moisture in the engine parts so no steel shot from the shot blaster will stick. After it's done in the oven you transfer the parts basket to the low velocity steel shot blaster there you throw plain steel shot at it for around 45 minutes while the basket rotates this will remove any ash and remaining paint. When your done in the blaster the parts are clean and look like new castings. The final step is transfer the basket one final time to the cooldown / shakedown unit this is the third step and it blows to cooling fans on it and rolls the basket and at the same time rocks it side to side in a X - Y motion to roll out any stray steel shot.
The Oven requires 115V 15 Amp electrical service and a minimum of 1/4 PSI or 7" Water Column maximum is 1 PSI or 12" Water Column also a triple insulated 10" diameter stack is required I will include the existing stainless steel stack I really don't think there's any issues with it we have enough to go thru a 12 foot ceiling. The Shot Blaster requires 230V 30 Amp electrical service and there is a Vac / Dust Collection system for the blaster that also needs a 115V 15 Amp service. The Shaker Cooldown unit requires 115V 15 Amp electrical service.
Unit is located in Elyria, Ohio 44035. I can palletize and load these units for you. Any questions send me a message or give me a call (***)-452-3482
