2" round., 18 gauge, FENDER / ROOF MEMBRANE SEAM WASHER:
Sale is for fifty ( 50 ) washers which is one ( 1 ) lot. These washers were made for securing single ply membrane seams & thermal insulation board to flat roof steel, wood or concrete decking via a self drilling & tapping screw / anchor ( there should be a listing for them "ROOF DECK SCREW /ANCHOR" ). Steel decking is normally 22 gauge steel sheet metal, but these washers are thicker for securing areas of single ply membrane seams so they are ( 18 gauge ). Each washer is ribbed so they are strong. These washers are plated with an aluminum & zinc alloy to give good corrosion resistance. These washers conform to Factory Mutual ( FM ) & Code requirements for ROOFING use, but they can be used anywhere you need them. The FM requirements covers corrosion resistance and securement strength. These washers work well to secure soft / crushable materials like thermal insulation or high stress / strength roof single ply membranes. These washers have a 1/4 inch diameter center hole, and they are 2 inches round shape. I have found these washers ideal for securing wood fiber building board on wood frame construction; the fastener heads do not sink / pull through the board as often occurs without a washer to spread the securement.
