Wyman gold stamper - vintage machine
Found at a recent sale is a WYMAN GOLD STAMPER. The piece is vintage (don't know how old) and it measures 10" to the top of the head and 11" wide from the outside of the roller to the outside of the spool holder. The whole machine is cast iron frame and operating pieces are steel. The base plate measures 9" wide by 12" deep and 1" tall. There is a heat gauge on the front by COOPER CO., PEQUABUCK, CT. There is a brass tag plate on the side of the stamper that reads WYMAN GOLD STAMPER, Mfg by WYMAN ENGRAVING CO. 265 Boston Rd., Route 3A, Billerica, MASS., GOLD STAMPING and EMBOSSING DIES, Model B.
