PSA - Pressure Swing Adsorption
* NitroGenerator is a state of the art expandable nitrogen generation system with a built-in standby system which ensures the most efficient use of electricity and the systems internal components. The systems utilize a compressed air source that can be existing or supplied along with the generator.
* STANDARD PROCESS The compressed air enters the generator via a 0.01 micron filter that removes contaminants and bulk moisture via an integrated autodrain. When the control system assesses that more nitrogen is required, the solenoid valve is opened and the pressure is allowed to build in the column containing Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) and a residue moisture catcher. This sieve adsorbs the oxygen and leaves the dry nitrogen free to flow into the reservoir. After this point, the Nitrogen is allowed to flow to the application via pressure and flow regulators.
* LCMS STANDARD PROCESS The compressed air enters the generator via a 0.01 micron filter that removes contaminants and bulk moisture via an integrated autodrain. When the control system assesses that more nitrogen is required, the solenoid valves open allowing air to enter the Carbon Molecular Sieves (CMS) column. After a set duration, the programmable logic controller (PLC) within the control system exhausts the first column and operates another valve to pressurize the second CMS column. This cycle repeats whilst the application requires nitrogen. The sieve adsorbs the oxygen and leaves the nitrogen free to flow into the reservoir. After this point Nitrogen is allowed to flow to the application via pressure and flow regulators.
* NitroGenerator is a state of the art nitrogen generation system giving you access to a constant supply of pure nitrogen.
* Depending on your nitrogen flow and purity requirements, there are two ranges of NitroGenerator. There is the standard NG NitroGenerator system, which runs at a purity up to 0.001% oxygen (10 ppm Oxygen) as standard, and there is the NG-LCMS NitroGenerator syste, which is designed for a higher flow rate, but produces a lower purity of 1% - 0.1% Oxygen depending on which system you choose.
* NitroGenerator is fitted with an energy saving system that only produces nitrogen when you require it, while at the same time ensuring that when you do require nitrogen it is of a consistent purity. This means you should never switch the Control unit or air supply off, as it periodically purges the system to maintain purity.
