The UCST-400E-000 Printer and Scale features:
* Ethernet satellite with standalone feature.
* Wireless expansion slot (wireless card not included)
* 350-key touch screen keyboard / display (infrared)
* Printing speed: 125 mm/sec
* Ability to be recertified by your county weights and measures division
* Scale capacity: 30lbs / 15kg
* Scale precision to 0.01 lb / 0.005kg.
* Supports English, French, and Spanish languages
* Master: A scale that stores all user-generated information and allows access to all available features for any Mettler Toledo scales connected to it. The master scales include both TNET and Ethernet connections. Due to various firmware versions, some masters may not be fully compatible with existing satellites. Please contact us if you have any questions.
* Satellite: A scale that needs to connect to the master scale to have access to all available features. When properly connected, a satellite will automatically have access to the PLU's entered in the master. If there is no master available the satellite scale will print labels and weigh items, but will not be able to edit the PLU database. The satellite scale may include one or more of the following connections: TNET or Ethernet. Due to various firmware versions, some satellites may not be fully compatible with existing masters. * Standalone: A feature in the scale that can modify the PLU database without connecting to the master. Recommended for users in a single-scale environment.
* TNET: Scales with this feature can connect the master to the satellites using a standard phone cable. The network or TNET uses a high speed RS485 communication interface. The maximum cable length of the network is 1500 feet (including scale drops). Each master can support up to 24 satellites per network. The TNET connection is made to each satellite using a standard phone jack and 25 ft (762 cm) communication cable. The cable from the phone jack connects to the bottom of the scale. TNET cables are not included with any of our scales.
* Ethernet: Scales with this feature can connect the master to the satellites using a standard ethernet cable. Ethernet masters and satellites use the TCP/IP protocol. To use this type of network a router, switch or hub is required. Ethernet cables are not included with any of our scales.
