Lens positioning assembly with 4 small linear actuators
This assembly came from some laser equipment. It was used to move lenses back and forth. It consists of four small electric actuators. They have a gear reduction motor with a rack and pinion assembly. Inside the housings are very small mechanical limit switches and outside, there are adjustable inductance sensors. The motors have 2 wires with permanent magnets so reversing the polarity changes the motor direction. The actuator housings are machined aluminum. The actuators are well made.
The pictures are of the first one I sold but they are the same. This is my last one.
