I have primarily wholesaled Bakery and Restaurant equipment to local used equipment dealers for about 16 years plus. I am retired from the Government with 25 years of which was equipment repairs and purchasing of GSA equipment. Enough about me! Please allow me to let you know, what I know about this Hobart Mixer.
Here is a little info and history where this mixer and others that we will have for sell in the very near future. We got the opportunity to get a contract for 13 housewives which they are a small chain restaurant bakery in south Georgia. The first location started in Atlanta in 1981 and they have 12 other locations within georgia the locations are Augusta, Baxley, Bowman, Brookfield, Cedar Springs, Chattahoochee Hills, Cochran, Columbus, Dacula, Dalton, Eton, Hartwell, Kingsland. They all have been shutting down within the past 2 years due to the economic times that we are all in. A wife and husband started the first location, after the first location was opened it was a success and others were wanting to start a " Housewives" location so the original owners/starters of the restaurant/bakery combos wanted to start franchising the other 12 locations so that is what they did.
This 30 QT. with mixer came from the Cochran, Georgia location.
The 30 QT's were used for their bakery needs. The bakery's were only opened on tuesday's and thursday's for bakery and subs therefore all equipment may have some age but extremely light usage.
This location had 1 Hobart 30 QT. and 1 Hobart 20 QT. Normally all the locations have 1 Hobart 60 QT and 1 Hobart 20 QT or 1 Hobart 30 QT. but this location only needed 1 20 QT. and 1 30 QT.
Most of the locations were older historic houses converted into a small restautant,bakery,deli combo's.
Hobart products are built by American's and it shows. Their products have earned respect all over the world for long lasting and reliabilty. The D-300T is what Hobart built their reputation on.
When we plugged it in and turned it on we found it to be almost silent in all 3 speeds. Please take a few minutes and enlarge the pictures and get a really good look at this awesome mixer. I want you to compare it to the rest of the machines you might be considering- even the new ones.
All attachments would cost the end user well over $ 1,900.00 plus the cost of the machine.

This mixer is made in the U.S.A.
