Candy apple kit everything you need to make 100 apples
This kit contains supplies to make 100 Candy Apples!
All you need are the apples, and the sugar.
2 bags of Professional Quality Candy Apple Mix
100 12" X 12" clear cellophane wrappers
100 red and white striped twist ties
Making candy apples is easy, anyone can do it! We do recommend that children are supervised by an adult.
Remove stems from apples and insert skewers through bottom of apple.
In heavy pot mix together, 1 bag of candy apple mix, 5 pounds of sugar, and 1 pint of water.
Stir mixture until all sugar and mix are disolved.
Cook mixture on med. high heat until it reaches 300 degrees on a candy thermometer.
Turn off heat, and start dipping apples.
Dip each apple in the candy mixture and spin it to remove excess.
Place candied apples on greased paper or waxed paper, and allow to candy to harden.
Wrap your candied apples in the cellophane wraps, and secure the wraps with a twist tie.
Candy apples only have a shelf life of 2 -3 days. In very high heat and humidity, this time is greatly reduced.
