U.s. origin horse serum (donor) eia tested (100 ml)
Donor Horse Serum is collected from controlled donor herds located in the USA. These donor herds receive regular veterinary inspection and care. Coggins tests for equine infectious anemia (EIA) are routinely performed on each horse. Horse serum contains a higher concentration of protein compared to Fetal Bovine Serum, but lower concentrations of trace metals, making it an ideal supplement for more complex media where higher protein concentration is not a factor. Cell culture media supplemented with horse serum has demonstrated its suitability for culturing neuronal cells, haematopoietic stem cells and is also used in diagnostic assays and as a supplement in mycoplasma growth and detection media.
