Planer 10 - 16 liter provides programmed cooling of biological specimens within the temperature range of +30 C to -180 C. This model consists of a chamber module which holds the specimens and a programmable temperature controller with integral display and an alpha-numeric plotter to record program data. This is normally used with a dewar containing liquid nitrogen fitted with a pump to feed liquid nitrogen to the chamber unit. The Kryo 10 - 16 has a rectangular, 16-liter chamber for up to 726 2ml ampoules, 608 straws or 11 blood bags.
