cosmetically there are some tiny scratches and microscopic dings.
the data report page comes with a full list of all the performance details including freq response ,amplitude accuracy , noise-floor sensitivity,flatness, attenuator, and stability. judging from the included 16 page report of realignment and cal, this unit functions almost like brand new ! The last 8562a model ended in 1992 so thats pretty amazing for a unit of this age.
All buttons, knob, outputs , and inputs and both ref sources(rear 10 mhz ref and front 300mhz cal out ref) work great. crt is in perfect condition with no screen burn or significant sign of aging. Its still super bright
No errors are showed when I powered it up, while running all the tests , and when I go to recall errors, as shown in pics,it displays "no errors"..
