Scio is a sidestream gas module designed for use with Dr ger Medical s anesthesia workstations and Infinity patient monitors. Its innovative gas bench incorporates the very latest micro-optic technology. Advanced gas-detection technology assures stable, reliable measurements of respiratory and anesthetic gases even in previously problematic low-flow situations, making Scio ideal for pediatric patients and low-flow adult cases. It also features a miniaturized paramagnetic oxygen sensor, which delivers a fast, linear, accurate, highly stable and selective response. There s more to Scio than rapid detection and identification of gases, including Isoflurane, Halothane, Enflurane, Sevoflurane and Desflurane, as well as nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide and oxygen.
